MEET THE FOUNDER

In August 2024, I founded LOTH in Singapore, born from a deep admiration for traditional watchmaking techniques and the timeless allure of meticulously hand-finished components. The name LOTH is derived from the acronym "Lab of Tristan Ho", a nod to my background in biomedical research, and a reflection of the precision, patience, and spirit I hope to bring to horology.


To me, LOTH is more than just a watch brand. It’s a personal symbol of aspiration, discipline, and creative freedom. As a one-man show, I am involved in every aspect of the business, from movement design and finishing to marketing and website development—all without formal training in watchmaking or design.


LOTH is the first of its kind in Singapore’s independent watchmaking scene, and has already made a positive mark both locally and internationally. More importantly, I hope it stands as a beacon for fellow aspiring watchmakers and craft enthusiasts—proof that with passion and persistence, there are no limits to where your hands and heart can take you.
